Syntax:

<extension>a_ext</extension>

[Required for a language definition]

It specifies the extension of a file or URI that should be associated with this language. You could have multiple extensions for a language, and the first one is the default one.

Example,

<extension>zul</extension>
<extension>xul</extension>
